General Information

What’s included?

A guided kayak expedition with one guide and a small group of max. 6 participants. Organisation and rent of kayak gear, route planning, safety briefings, transport to start point of the trip and return to Skårungen.

What’s not included?

Flights to Lofoten and back, Food, personal camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, stove etc.), travel to and from Skårungen before and after the trip itself, and accommodation before/after the trip.

Where do the trips start and end?

Both expeditions start at Skårungen near Kabelvåg.
We always try to start or finish the trip there – but if conditions require a different route, we’ll arrange transportation for you and your gear to the start and or finish of the trip at no extra cost.

Can I rent kayak gear?

Yes. You can either bring your own full sea kayak setup and pay less or rent a complete expedition package (kayak, paddle, PFD, spray skirt, paddle jacket / drysuit, pump, sponge) - which is included in the price.

How many people will join?

Each trip is limited to 6 participants + 1 guide. That keeps things personal, flexible, and allows for individual support along the way.

Where do we sleep?

We’ll camp along the way – on beaches, grassy patches, and scenic spots close to the water.
Every participant is responsible for carrying and organizing their own food, tent, sleeping bag, and personal gear for the full length of the trip. Gear list and food recommendations available prior to the trip.

“Lofoten is my second home. I’ve paddled here for multiple seasons and it’s the only place I always come back to.”

Hi, I’m JP – photographer, filmmaker, and sea kayak guide. I know these waters well. I’ve fished from my kayak in the evening light, cooked over fires on island beaches, and watched the clouds roll through the fjords many times.

This coastline is close to my heart, and these trips are my way of sharing that with others. No big groups, no noise – just paddling, camping, and being out there. It’s the kind of experience I live for, and I’d love to take you with me.
